i don't know that i have ever coveted a piece of technology until the iphone. http://http://www.apple.com/iphone/
it seems like it has everything i could desire in a single piece of technology and truthfully, probably more features than i would ever be able to master/fully utilize.
i fully expect there to be problems and kinks (which is one reason that i'm NOT running out to buy one today....that and the $500-$600 price tag is a bit daunting too!)

(#6) whizzzz
i used retrievr with my periodical photo and came up with this. wow.
as an artist and a frequent user of google image searches, i've dreamt for a while now about a reverse type of google image search. i imagined that it would entail drawing/submitting an image into a google search and getting similiar images or written documents in return. who knew?
i look forward to exploring retrievr and reading more about how it all works!

(#3) 7 1/2 habits...
http://www.plcmc.org/public/learning/player.html
response:
i think that habit 7 1/2 is by far the easiest. i love to play! if only i had the time and $ to invest in every new tech toy! habit 2 and 3 are others favorites of mine, and ones that come pretty naturally.
hardest, i think, are habits 4 and 7.
learning new things can be pretty daunting and i think i often let fear get in my way.
also, i have to continue to work hard at teaching/mentoring others. i always imagined that teaching came naturally, that if i understood something i would just magically be able to communicate it well to others. not exactly that simple!

and they said it would never happen...
well, actually, certain people in my life have accused me of having a secret blog for years now. i had no idea that this was all so incredibly user friendly! looks like adding pictures and links is a breeze.
okay, so let's see how this looks...
